Utah Royals release 2025 season roster and a sweet new jersey (ICYMI)
Utah Royals release final roster ahead of the 2025 season (today) and a sweet new jersey (ICYMI last week)

The 2025 NWSL season is basically here! We are days away from the start of a brand-new season edition of Utah Royals FC. While the hype of the Return to Royalty last year simmered down as the team struggled on and off the field (coach firing, players taking a leave of absence/not returning, lack of a winning record, poorly-attended matches, etc.), this year appears to be different. As it should be! And we're going to be watching what Coach Jimmy Coenraets does with this young squad as the Royals look to improve from 2024.
The 2025 roster
Utah has a total of 31 players rostered. The league max is 26 for active players. Four players are on that season ending injury list: Imani Dorsey, Alex Loera, Lauren Flynn, Cloé Lacasse. Olivia Griffits is on maternity leave, and Emily Gray is on loan with Piteå IF for the season.
GOALKEEPERS (3): Mandy McGlynn, Cristina Roque, Mia Justus
DEFENDERS (8): Tatumn Milazzo, Kate Del Fava, Nuria Rábano (INTL), Ana Maria Guzman (INTL), Madison Pogarch, Kaleigh Riehl, Sydney Jones (IRP)
MIDFIELDERS (8): Claudia Zornoza (INTL), Ana Tejada (INTL), Mikayla Cluff, Dana Foederer (INTL), Janni Thomsen (INTL), Ally Sentnor, Macey Fraser (INTL), Aria Nagai (SCE)
FORWARDS (7): Paige Monaghan, Mina Tanaka (INTL), Brecken Mozingo, KK Ream (U18), Aisha Solórzano (INTL), Bianca St-Georges, Kayla Colbert (IRP)
Key: INTL (International), U18 (Under 18), IRP (Injury Replacement Player), SCE (Salary Cap Exempt)
The Great Salt Lake kit
Let's talk about this kit for a bit and appreciate Utah's secondary kit for the season. Controversial front of jersey sponsor, aside, this is a chef's kiss kit. The colors. The design. It's very Utah as it pays tributes to the landscapes and the Great Salt Lake.
